Casa del Disco

Altra chicca partorita dalla STRUT, “ZE 30” è un doveroso omaggio alla Ze Records, seminale label emersa a New York nei tardi anni ’70. Nata dal genio di uno studente d’arte francese (Michel Esteban) ed un giornalista inglese (Michael Zilkha), la Ze Records fu nominata da The Face “l’etichetta più figa del mondo”, anche grazie alle grafiche innovative di Esteban, che caratterizzavano il look delle produzioni. Incredibile la varietà di artisti che firmarono per l’etichetta, dai pionieri post-punk Suicide, alla regina trash-disco Cristina fino ad arrivare a James Chance o ai Material oltre al già celebrato August Darnell aka Kid Creole.
